About Us

Meet the Founder

Global Freight labor Services LLC was founded with a simple mission: help importers and warehouse operators move freight faster and safer than the big national labor providers — with crews that actually show up.

Our founder came up on the warehouse floor in the Northeast. He earned his degree in International Business from The George Washington University, graduating in 2023 — pairing a global trade education with more than five years running lumper crews across cross-docks and high-volume distribution centers.

That combination — understanding what an import program costs on paper and what it takes to move it on the dock — is baked into everything we do. Every crew, every shift, every container is handled to deliver measurable results.

Service Area

We work inside warehouses, distribution centers, cross-docks, and 3PL facilities across the Northeast — from the New Jersey and New York industrial corridors through Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and into New England. We are a dock-side labor partner: our crews work your building, your doors, and your equipment.

Once your container or trailer is at your facility, we take it from there — unloading, sorting, palletizing, and staging so your inbound freight is put away the same shift.

Multi-site importers, seasonal peak surges, and single-door operations all get the same thing: a named crew lead, a start time we hold to, and a shift report you can hand to your carrier. Not sure if we cover your location? Send us a message and we will confirm availability.

FAQ

Questions Importers Ask Before Booking

Scheduling, damage prevention, and exactly where our crews work.

Can you work nights, weekends, and peak season?

Yes. We staff first, second, and third shift, including Saturdays and Sundays, and we scale headcount up for peak season, promotional pushes, and container surges. Recurring accounts get a standing schedule with the same crew lead so your dock team is not retraining people every week.

What happens if my container arrives late or the schedule changes?

Tell us as soon as you know. We hold flexible start windows and reassign crews between accounts, so a delayed arrival usually means a shifted start rather than a lost day. There is no charge for reasonable same-day timing changes.

How do you prevent damage to my freight?

Every crew is safety-trained on floor-loaded handling, carton orientation, stack heights, and shrink-wrap standards before they touch your product. We build stable, uniform pallets to your SOP, keep case stacking within weight limits, and slow down on fragile or high-value SKUs rather than racing the clock.

What if freight arrives already damaged or short?

We document it as we unload — photos, carton counts, and seal condition — and hand your supervisor a written discrepancy report the same shift. That gives you the evidence to file claims against the carrier or supplier instead of absorbing the loss.

Where exactly do you work?

We work inside warehouses, distribution centers, cross-docks, and 3PL facilities across the Northeast. Our core territory is central New Jersey — Middlesex, Somerset, Union, Mercer, and Monmouth counties along the I-95, Route 1, and Turnpike Exit 8A–10 corridors — and we regularly staff sites in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. We work inside your building: your doors, your dock, your equipment.

Do you cover sites outside central New Jersey?

We take requests just outside our core area case by case, depending on crew availability and the size of the commitment. Send us the address and volume and we will tell you honestly whether we can staff it reliably — we would rather decline than miss a start time.

Do we need to supply equipment or a supervisor?

We bring the labor, PPE, and a named crew lead who reports to your receiving supervisor. Equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and dock plates stays yours, and our lead handles the shift so your team is not managing temps all day.
